AML / KYC Policy

Our approach to identity verification, transaction monitoring, and preventing financial crime on the platform.

Last updated: August 2, 2026

01Our Commitment

Fexistrade is committed to preventing the use of its platform for money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, or any other illicit financial activity. This Anti-Money Laundering and Know Your Customer ("AML/KYC") Policy outlines the controls we apply to verify user identity, monitor activity, and report suspicious behavior in line with recognized international AML standards.

02Customer Identification Program

Before you can deposit, trade, or withdraw funds, we require you to complete identity verification. As part of this process, we collect and verify:

  • Full legal name and date of birth.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID, or driver's license).
  • A live selfie or biometric check to confirm the ID belongs to you.
  • Proof of address, for higher verification tiers or larger transaction volumes.

We may use trusted third-party identity verification providers to confirm the authenticity of submitted documents.

03Verification Tiers

Access to platform features scales with your verification level. Unverified or partially verified accounts are subject to reduced limits on deposits, withdrawals, and trading until additional verification is completed.

  • Basic — email and phone verification; limited access, deposit-only in most cases.
  • Standard — government ID and selfie verification; standard trading and withdrawal limits.
  • Enhanced — proof of address and, where applicable, source-of-funds documentation; higher or unlimited transaction thresholds.

04Ongoing Monitoring

Verification is not a one-time event. We continuously monitor account activity for patterns consistent with money laundering, structuring, or other suspicious behavior, and we may request updated documentation or additional information at any time — even after your account has been verified — to remain compliant with applicable regulations.

05Source of Funds

For larger deposits, withdrawals, or activity that appears inconsistent with your account history, we may request evidence of the source of your funds, such as bank statements, payslips, or documentation of the origin of crypto assets. We reserve the right to pause a transaction or restrict an account until this information is satisfactorily provided.

06Politically Exposed Persons

We screen users against lists of Politically Exposed Persons ("PEPs") and their close associates or family members. Accounts identified as belonging to a PEP are subject to enhanced due diligence, including closer monitoring and, where necessary, senior-level approval before certain transactions are permitted.

07Sanctions Screening

All users are screened against applicable global sanctions and watchlists at onboarding and on an ongoing basis. We do not permit individuals or entities on any applicable sanctions list to use the Services, and any matching account will be immediately restricted pending review.

08Suspicious Activity Reporting

Where we identify activity that reasonably appears suspicious, we may file reports with the relevant financial intelligence or law enforcement authorities, as required by applicable law. Consistent with standard AML practice, we do not notify users when a suspicious activity report has been filed.

09Record Keeping

We retain identity verification documents and transaction records for the period required under applicable AML regulations, even after an account is closed, in order to support regulatory inquiries and investigations.

10Employee Training

Employees involved in onboarding, compliance, and customer support receive training on recognizing red flags for money laundering and fraud, and on the procedures for escalating suspicious activity internally.

11Consequences of Non-Compliance

Providing false, misleading, or fraudulent information during verification, or attempting to circumvent our AML/KYC controls, is a serious violation of our Terms & Conditions. It may result in immediate account suspension, forfeiture of platform access, and reporting to the appropriate authorities.
